Rockstar Games recently announced that "Grand Theft Auto V" will be released on November 18, 2014 for the Xbox One and PS4 version. However, the release date for the PC game version was moved to January 27, 2015. PC gamers are said to be dismayed and frustrated at this recent development and took to social media to express their thoughts.

Last Saturday, Rockstar explained the reason for the delay. The company wrote on the comments section to the release date announcement post that "the game requires a little more development time in order to ensure that it is as amazing and polished as possible."

However, Rockstar also promised to reveal details regarding new features and information about all the new versions in the coming weeks.

PC gamers are having mixed reactions over the delay. Some did not take the announcement kindly as with the case of Reddit user Error134. In the "GTA V" Reddit forum, the user cried outrage over the delay.

Speaking in behalf of the PC gamers, Reddit user ERROR134 said, "Well done Rockstar. The whole PC Community hates you."

Clearly frustrated by the turn of events, ERROR134 went on to accuse Rockstar Games of lying that "the PC version won't be delayed." The anonymous user even declared the PC release is only delayed so developers can earn more money.

"Rockstar, just deliver the god damn game THIS FALL like you PROMISED to do," the user concluded.

However, other posts were a little more accepting of the delay situation.

User EBadger117 claimed 3 months is not such a long wait and called on PC gamers to stop whining.

So far the new "GTA V" features described by Rockstar Games for the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions include new weapons, vehicles and activities, plus more wildlife and denser traffic. Additionally, "major visual and technical upgrades" will reportedly make Los Santos and Blaine County more immersive for its players.

Meanwhile, "GTA Online" was expanded to 30 players on Xbox One and PS4.

As for the PC version, despite the delayed release, the 2014 E3 announcement by Rockstar Games promises a unique addition not present in any of the other consoles. "GTA V" for PC will also feature a "video editor designed for advanced movie-making."

Below are other reactions posted on Twitter regarding the delayed release of "GTA V" for PC.

@gamespot why would they release the PC version so late anyway?? I mean they made the game on a PC so it should basically be done. Thoughts?
