James Gunn, the writer and director of the upcoming "Guardians of The Galaxy 2" movie, revealed in an interview that the character Nebula is not dead and wants the fans to be able to see more of her. The director also spoke about some of the other characters in the movie.

James Gunn reportedly fell in love with the design of the character Nebula. In an interview with Yahoo, the director revealed how he cast actress Karen Gillian for the character and how important the character is to him both personally and to the movie franchise.

The director joked about having a lot of plans for Nebula in his personal life before quickly moving on to the more serious issue of wanting the fans to feel more passionately about the character. The director hopes the fans will be excited enough to say that they want to see more of Nebula in the upcoming movie.

The director compared her to the character Boba Fett from the "Star Wars" movies. Boba Fett was a bounty hunter in the original trilogy and is one of the most popular characters among the fans of the franchise. James Gunn did not confirm that Nebula will be featuring in "Guardians of the Galaxy 2."

The director described Nebula as a layered character who can't be characterised as either good or evil. She is the sister of Gamora, one of the team members of the superheroes, and she had her own reasons for supporting the villain in the movie. The director further said that most of the characters in his movie were like the heroes themselves and they can neither be said to be completely good or completely bad.

James Gunn also spoke about the importance of the character called The Collector, played by Benicio Del Toro. The director showered the actor with praises and explained that the character was necessary to explain the "Guardians of the Galaxy" universe to the audience and he was one of the members looking for the infinity stone featuring in the movie, apart from the villains Thanos and Ronan.

"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" is expected to answer a crucial question about the identity of Peter Quill's father. Fans of the franchise are also excited to see how the character Groot will feature in the movie.
