An Artist working for Marvel Studios, Andy Park, has revealed multiple concept arts for the characters Nebula and Gamora for the movie "Guardians of the Galaxy." The concept art is different from the actual look of the characters in the movie.

A heavily tattooed Gamora and Nebula wearing a hoodie are some of the concepts created by Andy Park. The concept of Nebula with some heavy cybernetics, including a metallic eye-patch, was showcased by the artist from the concept phase. Click here to see one of the pictures.

Andy Park has worked on movies like "Avengers," "Iron Man" 3, "Thor" 2, Captain America" 2, "Ant-Man," "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Avengers." Most of the movies from Marvel have been big hits at the box office.

Both Nebula and Gamora have been associated with the big villain Thanos in "Guardians of the Galaxy." Both the characters eventually turn against Thanos and are seen working against him. Nebula was seen fighting alongside Ronan with the hope of getting his help to kill Thanos and Gamora joined Star Lord to stop Thanos from getting the powerful Infinity Stone.

Nebula and Gamora are seen facing off each other in the movie. It is still unclear if Nebula survived the final conflict. Movie buffs however remain hopeful because the actual death of the character was not seen in the movie.

"Guardians of the Galaxy" 2 has been given the green signal by the producers. The movie will be directed by James Gunn and is slated to be released on July 28, 2017 in the U.S. Expectations are high from the movie given the recent success at the box office.

The plot and characters featuring in "Guardians of the Galaxy" 2 are still unknown at this time. A lot of work has reportedly already gone into the movie for some of the characters like Drax and Peter Quill. Fans of the series may also find out who the real father of Star Lord is in the upcoming movie and some familiar characters like Yondu Udonta are expected to return.
