Guardians of the Galaxy – New Trailer Shows Prison Break [Watch Video]
A new trailer of the movie "Guardians of the Galaxy" shows the group of heroes trying to break out of prison. The trailer will showcase the humour and action that viewers can expect to see in the movie. Expectations are high from this relatively new franchise from Marvel.
Viewers will find that the real brain of the group is in fact Rocket. The character has been seen fiddling with gadgets in previous trailers. He comes up with a plan to escape from the prison in the new trailer.
The humour in "Guardians of the Galaxy" is evident in the trailer. Just as Rocket begins to explain his plan to escape, Groot goes ahead and spoils it for the team by getting the battery needed by Rocket. He missed to get the one crucial information that the batteries were supposed to be taken last. This forces the team into action and they improvise.
Groot is the muscle and follows Rocket. The alien looks like a walking tree and is able to say only one thing - "I am Groot." But the context and the way he says the words can have different meaning. The words, for instance, said in an angry tone could mean disapproval.
The leader of the group however is Peter Quill, the only human among the superheroes. The other members of the team are the green skinned assassin Gamora and the other muscle man called Drax, who is also known as Drax the Destroyer.
The superheroes join forces to take on a new evil in the galaxy. The "Guardians of the Galaxy" will be facing Ronan the Accuser. Ronan is the main villain in the movie who has been fighting a long battle against the people of Xander.
The "Guardians of the Galaxy" also have links to another dreaded villain from the Marvel universe. The character Gamora was trained by Thanos to be a weapon for his evil designs. Movie buffs may remember seeing Thanos towards the end of the "Avengers" movie.
The cast of "Guardians of the Galaxy" includes Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as Groot and Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket. The role of Ronan is played by Lee Pace.
