‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2’: Chris Pratt reveals scripts has made him cry
“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2” is all set to hit the big screens this year. Chris Pratt has teased fans about what to expect from the upcoming film and admitted that he cried when he had read its script.
During The Jess Cagle Interview on SiriusXM (via Entertainment Weekly), Pratt assured fans that “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2” will be “bigger and better than the first movie in every way.” The actor described the film as “just heightened.”
Pratt has also shared that he shed a tear when he read the script of the film for the first time. “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2” has been written by James Gunn, who is also the director of the film.
The actor has detailed how the script left him emotional. He said he almost didn’t want to say anything. But he apparently went ahead and shared his thoughts anyway.
“It’s really, really fun, but there’s also some genuine, deep emotion that you get to see in this movie. And James Gunn, thank God for James Gunn,” Pratt said. He also described Gunn as the auteur.
“In my opinion, there is no equal in Hollywood. I think he is the best I’ve worked for, and with. And I owe so much to him. Really. And, it’s him,” the actor added.
Inquisitr noted that “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2” willl keep its focus on Peter Quill/Star-Lord's discovery of his father as well as his ancestors. Therefore, fans can definitely expect additions to the cast.
