Guns N' Roses to perform in Australia by December
Rock band Guns N' Roses will go to Perth by the end of the year.
The legendary frontman Axl Rose will bringing his band, without Slash, to West Australia to play the Perth Motorplex in Kwinana on December 11.
Guns N' Roses has sold 90 million albums with the hits Sweet Child o' Mine, Paradise City and Welcome to the Jungle in the 1980s. Sweet Child o' Mine reached No. 1 in the Hot 100 Billboard in the US.
The band's frontman Rose is one of rock'n'roll's most enigmatic and most iconic figures over the last two decades. Guns N' Roses current lineup includes lead vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarists Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and DJ Ashba, rhythm guitarist Richard Fortus, bassist Tommy Stinson, keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman and drummer Frank Ferrer. Rock band 90s fusion metallers Korn will be supporting the band.
Promoter Andrew McManus expressed excitement over the planned tour. "I saw Guns N' Roses perform in Helsinki a few months ago and I've never seen a bigger crowd. It was a wild concert with over 60,000 fans going freakin' berserk!"
