The Guys Who Lost the 'Hunger Games' Role to Josh Hutcherson [PHOTOS]
To get the right cast for the much-anticipated movie 'Hunger Games' was truly tough, according to the film's crew, but it was the hardest to find the right hunk for the role of Peeta.
Many young actors tried out for the part before the role was finally awarded to Josh Hutcherson. The director and the author of the book from which the movie was adapted, Suzanne Collins, is grateful to have found the perfect guy in Josh.
Hunter Parrish. This young star from 'Weeds' shared once in an interview with E! Online that he was negotiating for the role. He feels honoured to have been a part of the Peeta wannabes.
Alexander Ludwig. This Canadian actor was considered to have one of the best chances of getting the role.
Alex Pettyfer. He was also considered for the role and mentioned that he was in the talks with the producers, but he was undecided until he saw the script.
Liam Hemsworth. This handsome actor told MTV he was able to see its script and that he totally related to the character of Baker's son. He ended up with another part.
