Another case of a nanny affair as one of the reasons a celebrity couple broke up hits Hollywood news. After Ben Affleck’s alleged affair with his and ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s children’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian, reports now indicate that Gwen Stefani’s former husband Gavin Rossdale had an affair with their family nanny as well.

According to Us Weekly sources, Rossdale’s three-year affair with the family’s nanny, Mindy Mann, has pushed Stefani to divorce her husband. The insiders revealed that Stefani first discovered Rossdale’s nanny affair in February through the family’s iPad.

“The iPad was linked to Gavin’s phone. One of the other nannies discovered the exchange [between the two] and told Gwen," revealed the source via Us Weekly.

The “No Doubt” singer reportedly found explicit text messages between Rossdale and Mann, including a few nude shots of the nanny and plans for sex dates. The Us Weekly insider shared that Mann was fired from her nanny post soon after the discovery. However, Rossdale denied the affair to Stefani and insisted that it was just “flirtation” between him and Mann.

It was a few months after the incident that Rossdale admitted to having a three-year affair with the family nanny. According to Us Weekly, this included the period where Stefani was pregnant with their now 20-month-old son Apollo. The nanny affair prompted “The Voice” coach to separate from the “Bush” rocker. A Us Weekly source stated that Rossdale’s confession “completely devastated” Stefani.

“She was mortified, livid, and embarrassed,” the source added. “This was done right under Gwen’s nose.”

Meanwhile, a source close to Rossdale told E News that the musician is focused on “protecting his kids” amidst the nanny affair news and any backlash from the divorce. The source continued, "He is a fantastic father and his kids have been going through a hard time.”

Stefani’s former husband has also been spotted wearing his wedding, which the E News source explained was something he decided to do for the children.

"He wears his wedding ring because it makes the kids feel good. His kids are his number one priority,” the source said.

Rossdale and Stefani filed for divorce in August after 13 years of marriage. The former couple share three sons together, 9-year-old Kingston, 7-year-old Zuma and 20-month-old Apollo.
