Gwyneth Paltrow is swearing off Botox because she doesn't want to look like Joan Rivers. In an unexpected mention, the "Iron Man 3" star said the cosmetic procedure made her look crazy, just like the older TV personality.

The Academy Award winner, 40, graces the cover of the May issue of Harper's Bazaar, in which she shares her anti-aging and beauty secrets, including using non-invasive facial laser treatments, called Thermage. The treatment "feels like someone smacking your face with a rubber band that has an electric shock in it," but she would do it again because it took five years off her face.

She admitted that she has tried almost every anti-aging treatment. And though she's afraid to undergo surgery, she isn't completely nixing it as she might change her mind given ten years more.

What she would never do again, however, is Botox.

"I'll try anything. Except I won't do Botox again, because I looked crazy. I looked like Joan Rivers!" Gwyneth said, taking an aim at the "Fashion Police" star, who has been very open about her numerous cosmetic surgeries.

Gwyneth should prepare herself for retaliation from Joan.

The 79-year-old Daytime Emmy-winning talk show host is known for her acerbic tongue. She takes a dig on almost everyone, including Adele and Taylor Swift just recently.

Gwyneth returns as Pepper Potts in the third instalment of the "Iron Man" franchise on April 24.
