Gwyneth Paltrow Uses Chris Martin's Name To Sell Underwear, Says She Keeps 'Failing Everywhere'
Gwyneth Paltrow may have separated from husband Chris Martin, but when it comes to marketing something as intimate as her underwear, the 42-year-old doesn't shy away from using her husband's last name. The "Shakespeare In Love" actress has put on sale a set of undergarments on her lifestyle website GOOP with the initials GKPM, which reportedly means Gwyneth Katherine Paltrow Martin. Check it out here.
The lacy female underwear are available in three colours -- grey, white and black -- with and without the GKPM monogram. The ones with GKPM written on them are priced at $35, while the ones with her initials cost $75.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have called their break-up as "conscious uncoupling" on their personal blog and have remained amicable towards each other. The couple has two children, Apple, 10, and Moses, 8, from their marriage of more than a decade. They still take their kids out together even though Martin is reportedly in a new relationship with "The Hunger Games" actress Jennifer Lawrence.
Meanwhile, Paltrow talked about how it is difficult being a mother, as some days she feels that she is "failing everywhere." "Like today, I was making lunch and saying to myself, 'This lunch is so bad,' throwing pasta in the lunch bag, yelling, 'Get in the car.' I was losing my cool," revealed Gwyneth to Viva magazine in her recent interview.
The actress believes that it is very difficult to find the right balance between work and motherhood but the key to it is that one must not get too hard on yourself. "I think we all aspire to that balance but it's easier said than done It's just a matter of trying your best each day and not being too hard on yourself about things," said the actress.
The actress further said that motherhood itself is a challenging task and it does not matter if a woman is working on not. The mommy to two kids feels that motherhood has lots of demands. What further makes being a mommy difficult is the act of balancing a career along with taking care of the child. Paltrow rextends her respect to the women who can successfully achieve the right balance between managing their kids and career.
