Genesys Wealth member Nathan Haas moved into the overall lead after stage four of the Lakes Oil Tour of Gippsland held in Warragul on Thursday.

New South Wales' Haas fifth place in the gruelling fourth stage, a spectacular 102km mountain trek from San Remo to Warragul, secured the yellow jersey for the twenty-two-year-old.

Haas now leads West Australia's Bradley Linfield (Plan B) by eleven seconds, with New South Wales' Aaron Donnelly (Jayco-AIS) a further eight seconds behind.

Linfield's rise in the overall standings was a direct result of his victory in the fourth stage ahead of Victoria's Luke Fetch (Search2Retain) and Donnelly.

Overnight leader, Victoria's Steele Von Hoff (Genesys Wealth) claimed stage three, a morning 40km criterium around San Remo, narrowly defeating New South Wales' Philip Grenfell (BikeBug) on the line, with Queenslander Ryan Macanally (SP Ausnet) third.

The tour continues on Friday with a 45km criterium at Moe South primary school, followed by an 85km road stage from Morwell to Maffra.

The Lakes Oil Tour of Gippsland, the fourth race in the prestigious Cycling Australia 2011 National Road Series, with the five-day tour, covering a total distance of 520km.

Riders and teams are battling for valuable points towards the National Road Series standings, with Genesys Wealth dominating the NRS to date, with Nathaan Hass (235pts), Pat Shaw (160pts) and Steele von Hoff (85pts) filling the top three spots on the rankings, also placing them clearly on the top in the team rankings.
