Haitian singer Wyclef Jean’s choice for President wins election
Jean, who was shot in the hand while campaigning for newly elected Haitian President, Michel Martelly shared the good news in his Twitter account.

Jean tweeted: "I am in Haiti right now the next president has been announced its @presidentmicky !!!!!!!!"
According to Aceshowbiz, the 'Fugees' star is in Haiti Monday April 4 to celebrate the win. This is the first time that Jean is reported back in Haiti after the unfortunate incident before the elections.
The IBTimes earlier reported that the rapper had just got out of his car to accept a phone call when he felt the blood oozing from his hand.

"Singer Wyclef Jean gets shot in Haiti"
Wyclef was reportedly traveling at Delmas near Haitian capital, Port-au-Prince when the singer’s car was attacked on March 19 by still an unidentified gunman.
Wyclef was rushed to the hospital after suffering from minor injury.
The Haitian singer was also vying for the Presidency but was disqualified to run for office in 2010. His friend, Martelly has beaten Haitian former First Lady, Mirlande Manigat.
The official winner on the Presidential race will be announced on April 11.
