Survivors of Typhoon Haiyan react as a U.S. military helicopter delivers aid to their isolated village north of Tacloban

Generous help from all parts of the world are all pouring in but with aid going in a slow pace that instead of helping, the situation particularly in the Central part of the Philippines are getting out of hand. Retired footballer David Beckham is one of the celebrities who expressed his concerns on the ongoing situation.

"Estimates suggest that up to 4m children could be affected by the devastating impact of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. It's easy to feel powerless in these situations. But you can help. UNICEF is now on the ground working to reach children and their families with support-it's a race against the clock to reach those who need our help," Beckham wrote on his Facebook page.

Beckham followed it up by elaborating what UNICEP is doing in the ground zero. "UNICEF has already mobilized therapeutic food for children, health kits, water and hygiene kits from supplies available within the Philippines. Much more is on its way. Your help can save lives," Beckham's FB follow up note.

The "Roar" singer Katy Perry goes out on her way and tweeted her 47 million followers to help the Haiyan victims with UNICEF's donation page link.

"@UNICEF is rushing supplies to meet children's needs for safe water, food, medicine & shelter," tweeted by Katy Perry.
