Halle Berry Rolls with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Actress Stars in New TV Sci-fi Drama Series Titled Extant [WATCH VIDEO]
Actress Halle Berry and host Jimmy Fallon showed the viewers of "The Tonight Show" how they roll together. The 47-year-old star of new TV series "Extant" agreed to do the "human hamster wheel" on a mat with Jimmy Fallon where the two tumbled around and it looked like a fun thing to do.
In the YouTube video, currently with over 4 million views, Jimmy Fallon asked the actress if they should show the audience how they roll. "Let's do it," Halle Berry responded before she took off her shoes and headed to the gymnastic mat. Have a look at the video below.
The host stretched out on the mat and promised that he is not going to peek inside the actress' fitted black and white dress as he held on to her ankles. The audience kept teasing the host and then he playfully admitted that he did look a little. "How come you're looking?" Berry asked.
Then, the two decided to perform their "human hamster wheel" at the count of three while they held on each other's ankles and tumbled on the mat. After completing their roll, Halle and Jimmy both laughed at their stunt and the video ended with Halle hugging Jimmy as he exclaimed "That's how we roll!"
According to the Mail Online report, Halle Berry has been promoting the 13-episode new TV sci-fi drama series titled "Extant" in New York City. "It's a lot of work. I had no idea what it was like to shoot a TV series and with a newborn who doesn't sleep through the night," the actress revealed to the late-night chat show host when asked about being cast in the new TV series.
Halle Berry portrays character Molly Woods in "Extant," an astronaut who came back to Earth after something in outer space impregnated her. The actress revealed that she was drawn to the strong female character because the moment she started to read the script, she could not place it down and the quality of the show made her commit.
When the creators of "Extant" showed the concept of the TV series to Halle Berry, the Academy Award-winning actress was eight and a half months pregnant at that time with her second child with French actor husband Olivier Martinez.
"We're sitting at her house and I'm pitching all these terrible, horrible things that can happen. And I'm looking down at her stomach and thinking, 'Can she handle it?'" producer Greg Walker recounted in the news.com.au report. However, Halle Berry declared that being pregnant again on the show right after she gave birth did not really scare her.
"I thought, 'I'm going to ace that part of this, for sure!'" the actress stated. The CBS series "Extant" premiered on Wednesday, July 9, at 8 pm CT/9 pm ET.
