A minor head injury? Hollywood actress Halle Berry suffered an injury while filming a fight sequence on the set in downtown Los Angeles for her upcoming movie "The Hive." Meredith O'Sullivan, Halle Berry's Los Angeles publicist, confirmed that the 45-year old actress was taken with an ambulance from the set to the hospital where she received treatment before she was released.

According to reports, Halle Berry was vomiting after a nasty fall that hit her head on the concrete while filming a fight scene. The actress already had a history of on-set accidents but she was still taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre as a precaution. She was checked and then later on released at a short period of time. O'Sullivan said that the Oscar-winning actress will still continue to work on the upcoming film.

"Halle Berry suffered a minor head injury while shooting a fight sequence on the set of her film, 'The Hive'. She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She'll continue production as planned," the spokesperson said.

Troika Pictures and WWE Studios, which are producing the film, did not return any of the calls and emails asking for a comment or a statement regarding the incident. "The Hive" is a thriller movie that also co-stars Abigail Breslin and David Otunga. The movie plot is reportedly about a 911 operator who is forced in confronting a killer from her dark past in order to save the life of a young girl.

Aside from "The Hive," Halle Berry also has another upcoming project in her hands. The actress will star opposite Tom Hanks in a movie adaptation of "Cloud Atlas" which is a mystery sci-fi by David Mitchell. Sounds interesting. Hopefully this time, there will no longer be any on-set accident for Halle Berry.
