‘Halo 5: Guardians': Agent Locke A Spartan IV, Master Chief Hunted Down
Voice actor Mike Colter revealed his character in "Halo 5," Agent Jameson Locke, will be the primary playable character and that Locke will be introduced as a Spartan IV.
Inquisitr quoted the actor on his statements to his X-One Magazine interview about his "Halo 5: Guardians" character. His responses were likewise posted on a Reddit page.
"Once 'Halo: The Master Chief Collection' is released, and then 'Halo 5′ comes out shortly thereafter, you're basically going to be playing a game with me as the primary character," Colter said.
Likewise, Mike Colter claimed that in "Halo 5: Guardians" gamers will be delighted to play his character as he will "have some cool weaponry and some cool abilities," because by then the agent will already be a Spartan IV. However, it's still uncertain if Agent Jameson Locke will be a friend or a foe in the game. Colter claimed "Halo 5" will tease the Locke's relationship with the Master Chief. It would reportedly be "interesting" since players would be intrigued to know whether the manhunt finds him dead or alive
"That's usually what a manhunt comes down to, dead or alive, but you won't know what the purpose of finding Master Chief is [right away]," Colter said, further adding that a major plot twist in "Halo 5" would be determining the mental state of the Master Chief once he's hunted down.

As Variety previously reported, "Halo 5: Guardians" will introduce Agent Locke as an officer who works for the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) Oni. His team is reportedly sent out to a distant colony to investigate a terrorist activity. However, their mission also leads them to an ancient "hellish artifact."
Mike Colter is a newcomer to the "Halo" franchise. The actor is best known for his role in CBS series "The Good Wife" and in "Zero Dark Thirty." However, per Variety "Halo 5" could further elevate his fan base in a different level. The actor is even fascinated at the game's concept, as it reportedly features a look into an intriguing and mysterious world.
