‘Halo 5: Guardians’ dev deploys new Xbox One update, new Play Arts Kai figures detailed
343 Industries is celebrating the new year with a few new changes in the studio. Additionally, the developer has teased some new updates for the Xbox One exclusive title “Halo 5: Guardians.”
While the entire team behind “Halo 5: Guardians” is currently enjoying their new studio, the latest update via the Halo Waypoint blog has shown that the team is already hard at work for the month’s update. According to the studio, the latest update coming to Xbox One is Infinity’s Armory.
“The update is scheduled to drop towards the end of the month, and it’ll include new maps, weapons, armours, weapon skin and more,” said 343 Industries.
In the meantime, the developer reassured that there will be more details coming in succeeding updates within the coming weeks. There is even a scheduled livestream preview that will come sometime in two weeks.
343 Industries has also updated the servers in the goal of improving the speed of matchmaking. Part of the update has allowed for adjustment to ranking windows for ranked play, matchmaking with players up to 14 levels of rank and updates on playlists to bring the return of Infection.
For fans who are looking for more “Halo 5: Guardians” before the latest update is up, there is a new line of toys detailed for the franchise. Play Arts Kai has shown off a line of figures for “Halo 5: Guardians.” This has been previously shown off at the San Diego Comic-Con 2015.
This time, there are now new details and even new images of the upcoming “Halo 5; Guardians” figures. Sale price of the toys are at ¥14,800 (approx. AU$180). The figures are set to go on retail starting April, GameSpot reported.
No other detail has been given as of yet. There is no set price for the U.S. or other areas in the world, so the creator may still give more details as the time for sale comes nearer. From the looks of it, the toys seem to have limited poses. However, the amount of detail for both Master Chief and Spartan Locke are amazing.
This is not a surprise, considering how Play Arts Kai has been in charge of toys for other franchises. These include “Batman,” “Arkham Knight,” “Final Fantasy VII,” “Metal Gear Solid V” and “Iron Man,” among others.
