'The Hangover 2' stunt man in coma after stunt mishap
Scott McLean, a stunt performer for The Hangover 2, was seriously injured during a production in Thailand. McLean is reportedly in a coma after an accident on the set of the film last December 17th.
According to reports, McLean was doing a stunt which turned into a mishap when two cars crashed into each other while traveling at high speed as part of the stunt. McLean was then taken to a hospital in Bangkok.
It is not yet known how the accident will affect shooting schedules for the film.
The Hangover 2 is follow-up to the 2009 film directed by Todd Phillips, who will also helm the sequel. The film features Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Heather Graham, Justin Bartha and Jeffrey Tambor.
In the original movie, the plot focused on the four friends who traveled to Las Vegas for a bachelor party, only to wake up the next morning not remembering a thing and missing the groom, whose wedding is sheduled to occur the next day
