'Harry Potter' Author Confirms She Is Working On A Patronus Quiz For Fans
J.K. Rowling, the author of the “Harry Potter” book series, has confirmed that she is working on a new quiz for the fans. Fans will soon be able to take the Patronus quiz, which is based on a spell used by some of the fictional characters in the book series.
Fans of the franchise who have read the books or watched the movies will remember the Patronus Charm to conjure a guardian for protection against creatures like the Dementors. The spirit guardian of each witch or wizard is different. J.K. Rowling confirmed in a tweet that she has already written one and fans will be able to take the quiz soon.
The quiz will be made available for subscribers on the PotterMore website. Subscription for the website is free and fans will be able to experience the world of “Harry Potter” from the books and movies on the website. The website allows fans to take admission to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and they will be sorted into different houses that feature in the franchise.
After subscribing to the website, fans will be asked to buy a pet and a wand from the fictitious currency deposited at the Gringotts Wizarding bank. Each wand is different and the kind of wand that a fan gets depends on a quiz that needs to be taken on the website.
The Patronus quiz will determine what form of animal or bird the guardian spirit of the fan will take. The protagonist of the “Harry Potter” series has a stag as his guardian spirit. Some of the other popular Patronus Charms seen in the movies are Ginny’s horse, Hermione Granger’s otter, Ron Weasley’s dog, Luna Lovegood’s hare and Dolores Umbridge’s cat.
The protagonist of “Harry Potter” was one of the first in his class to be able to produce a Patronus Charm and was later seen teaching his classmates about how to cast that spell. The spell can be cast with a single and powerful happy memory. Fans of the franchise are wondering whether some of the dark characters in the franchise, such as the Death Eaters, will be able to cast this spell.
