Finally, the amazing adventures and stories of Harry Potter are already made available in digital format on the Pottermore site. All seven novels about the popular wizard of J.K. Rowling are already made for sale as electronic and audio books right on the author's website.

This announcement was made yesterday by the creators of the site.

All books are made available in English in both the UK and US editions that go with a rate of about $7.99 or 4.99 pounds (e-books) while the audio formats comes in $29.99 or in 17.99 pounds.

In the coming weeks, it was announced that editions in Spanish, German, Italian and French will also be released. All the books are made compatible with other popular e-readers like the Kindle and even Reader from Sony, along with other mobile phones and tablets out there that have ebook reader capability.

All novels of Harry Potter sold about 450 million copies but Rowling herself was the one hesitant about making them in e-books. It was just last year that the announcement about the e-books release was made.

The complete site which has various elements of games, social networking, online encyclopedia and online stores is set to be made available by the early part of April. Its supposedly original launch last October was delayed after the testing of several users which led to more changes needed to be made.

The very last novel in the Potter series was first published in 2007 which was entitled as 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.' Then J.K. Rowling announced just last month that she is already working on an adult's novel, but the title and date of release is yet to be announced.
