Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe discuss Horcruxes in the final films
With Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 hitting the theatres on November 19, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe goes on an all out second-to-the-last publicity campaign for the film that brought him international fame.
He recently went on E! Online to discuss the latest film in the Harry Potter franchise. In the interview, Radcliffe explains the struggle of the trio of Hermione Granger (Emma Watson), Ronald Weasley (Rupert Grint) and his titular character Harry Potter as they seek to destroy the dark wizard Voldermort in part one of the final installment of the Harry Potter series.
"Each Horcrux contains a part of Voldemort's soul, and therefore, have to be destroyed in order for Voldemort to die," said Daniel Radcliffe.
However, as every follower of the books by J.R. Rowling knows, the difficulty lies in destroying the Horcruxes as these also have an effect on the person who possesses them.
Radcliffe revealed: "The effect it has if somebody wears it for too long is they become paranoid, angry and rather horrible, generally,"
"It's one of those moments when the stress everybody is under gets completely on top of everyone, and then the whole thing can fall apart."
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 will be released in 2D and IMAX formats on 19 November 2010. E! News broadcasts the latest in entertainment during weekdays at 7 and 11:30 p.m and Harry Potter fans can tune in for the latest with the cast and creators of Harry Potter.
