After dedicating about half their lives working on the billion-dollar 'Harry Potter' franchise, and with each other, the three stars who played the famous wizard trio discuss the series' end.

The blue-eyed Daniel Radcliffe told People last week while at the National Movie Awards in London, "I will be devastated. There is nothing I watch without it triggering a series of memories. Everything [about the films] is so linked with my life. At the same time, it is exciting. It is the end."

He also explained that he isn't quite sure of what he'll do after stepping down as the bespectacled boy-wizard. "I hope I can find some kind of employment after this," said the 20-year-old. "Otherwise, I know [pantomime], I suppose." In reality though, Radcliffe has another gig at Broadway lined up in a revival of the musical, 'How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying'.

The beloved 'ginger' of the group, Rupert Grint, compared his transition through the movies as "graduating" through school, having knowing nothing about making films initially and heading out of the series a considerable veteran.

He also said that it was embarrassing to watch the earlier 'Potter' movies because he can't stand seeing himself go through puberty again. "It is weird I suppose. I have not known any different... it's the way I have grown up. You get used to it. It's weird - like having a big home movie. If the old films are on TV I'll glimpse slightly, but I have never watched one all the way through," he said to BANG Showbiz.

Grint recently completed 'Wild Target' with fellow Brits, Bill Nighy and Emily Blunt. He is also confirmed to be playing the titular role in a biopic about English ski jumper, Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards, as soon as filming for 'Potter' ends.

Emma Watson, who plays brainy witch Hermione Granger, likens the end of the series to losing someone you love. "I feel like someone is dying," said Watson, currently a student at America's Ivy League university, Brown University. "This kind of love and recognition is just incredible. It is also really emotional for me. I am proud."

Unlike the other two, the blonde-haired beauty, who had to dye her hair brown for the films, has no filming plans just yet and is looking forward to her summer break from college. "I am not planning to do an awful lot this summer," she said. "I will take a bit of a break and enjoy that, really," said Watson.

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" is slated for a worldwide release on November 19th, with an Australian release purportedly on November 25th.
