‘Harry Potter’ Villages Created By Universal Studios With Elements From The Movies
Universal Studios has come out with two new attractions from the "Harry Potter" franchise at two different theme parks. Popular locations from the books and the movies such as Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley can be explored by visitors in the theme parks.
"Harry Potter" fans will be able to explore the Hogwarts castle and visit the shops at Hogsmeade, when they visit Universal's Islands of Adventure theme park. The park will feature some exciting rides and other attractions that are intended to take the fans back to the magical fantasy world created by J.K. Rowling.
Some of the "Harry Potter" theme rides and attractions in the park include "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey," "Dragon Challenge," "Flight of the Hippogriff," "Triwizard Spirit Rally" and "Frog Choir." Fans will also be able to shop on the streets of Hogsmeade. Some of the products that feature in the books and the movies, like Chocolate Frogs at Honeydukes and wands at Ollivanders, are available for purchase.
The other famous location from the "Harry Potter" books and the movies is Diagon Alley. The Universal Studios Florida will now host a recreation of the popular location. Fans will be able to dine at the Leaky Cauldron and take a ride in the new Gringotts bank thrill ride at the theme park.
The Gringotts bank thrill ride is a multi-dimensional 3D ride. Fans will be able to see the recreation of the lobby of the bank seen in the movies. The goblins can also be seen doing their work. The ride will allow fans to relive the experience of the scene where Harry Potter and his friends breaking into the bank.
Fans will also get to see some of the popular characters from the "Harry Potter" universe. Bellatrix Lestrange, security trolls and a fire breathing dragon await the fans in the ride. The most dreaded villain in the franchise, Lord Voldemort, can also be seen in the ride.
The Universal Studios Florida theme park will also include some of the shops that appear in Diagon Alley. Fans will be able to purchase magical jokes and other novelty items at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. "Harry Potter" themed robes can be purchased at Madam Malkin's Robes.
