'Harry Potter's' Emma Watson 'Rarely' Talks to Daniel Radcliffe
Former "Harry Potter" stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson has been friends for quite some time. Having grown up in front and behind the cameras, their friendship is certainly one for keeps. However, in a recent interview the "Boy Who Lived" claimed he hasn't spoken to Watson in ages.
Contrary to what "Potterheads" believe, Radcliffe and Watson don't spend much time checking up on one another. Given their both quite busy with their film careers, fans would definitely understand that both Watson and Radcliffe barely have time to meet up. While Watson is busy working on another film, "Regression" along with Director Alejandro Amenabar, Radcliffe is equally busy working on his film "Frankenstein."
"I haven't spoken to her in quite a while. I'm sure we'll see each other at some point. We were all together for 10 years, so we're excited to meet new people now," states Radcliffe in a report by OK! Magazine (via The Sun Daily).
Aside from not missing the company of his close pals from "Potter," Daniel also admits to not missing playing the iconic character from the wizard franchise films.
"I still sign 'Harry Potter' books, and I still meet people who are huge fans of the books and the films. I don't want that to drop off, really. But I think people are starting to see me as an actor who came out of that series rather than just Harry Potter," explained Daniel.
Also, the actor broke a few hearts when he admitted that he wouldn't date a "Potter" fan.
"That would be a horrible move. It would make me very strange," continued Radcliffe, adding, "I've always had relationships. It's easy to tell if someone is genuine or not."
Despite Daniel and Emma not having spoken to each other in a while, this hasn't stopped fans from hoping they'd join forces again for another film. In fact, several rumours broke out on the web claiming both stars would be cast in the film adaptation of "The Little Mermaid." Yet, this was only a repeat of an April fool's joke posted on Muggle Net.
Maybe one day, Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe would team up again along with Rupert Grint for another film. Fans can only hope.
