"One Direction" member Harry Styles reportedly shared a two-second kiss with a fan. However, it didn't end well as the fan later complained that he had bad breath.

Aly Simpson claimed she kissed the singer and shared the details of her encounter in an interview with the Daily Star.

Out of six radio contestants, Simpson was the lucky winner of a VIP pass to meet Harry. She reportedly travelled 106 miles from her hometown in Cincinnati, Ohio in June of the previous year so she could meet her idol backstage after the band's Nationwide Arena concert. Aly claimed she had a blast at the event, calling it as "the biggest thrills" of her life. The concert, which was part of 1D's 2013 Take Me Home Tour, "was amazing" she said. Her day allegedly ended with a kiss from Harry Styles.

Simpson claimed she was "so pumped up" in meeting Harry Styles backstage that she "kind of pounced" on him after they shook hands. She reportedly puckered her lips for a kiss. She claimed Harry smiled and said, "OK then."

"The kiss lasted no more than two or three seconds but I was really taken aback by the smell of fried onions and ketchup," Aly later revealed after the kiss.

"I know most guys don't bother too much about freshening their breath but this was pretty foul. It really stopped me in my tracks," she added.

Aly claimed she regrets ever kissing the singer. She recalled his breath smelled "rancid" and she was glad the kiss didn't linger. She even shared some parting words to the singer, advising him "to keep some minty breath fresheners with him at all times."

Taylor Swift reportedly also claimed Harry Styles was "difficult to kiss with" because of his breath. According to Daily Star, the 24-year-old country singer and Harry's ex said "he had the worst breath, like coffee, cigarettes and booze".

However, according to Inquisitr, Aly Simpson's revelation of her encounter with the 1D singer garnered negative reactions from other fans who posted their thoughts on Twitter. Likewise, the name of the radio station was never mentioned to prove her win.
