Harry Styles NOT Leaving One Direction
Harry Styles' rep reassures his fans that he is not going solo anytime soon.
The One Direction member's representative tells The Daily Mail that he is not leaving One Directions to work on a solo project.
'It's complete nonsense, of course,' says the rep when asked about the rumored venture.
Earlier this week, Chloe Melas of Hollywood Life reports that Styles has plans to record his own album according to a source.
'Harry really wants to record his own stuff and put out in album now that this one is done,' says the source. 'Trust me, he's going to do it.'
In a panel discussion in VH1's The Gossip Table, Melas points out an instance that indicates Styles' desire to go out on his own.
'Bear in mind when One Direction were in New York City over the weekend and Harry had his tryst with Kendall, he stayed at the Gansevoort Hotel. But the other band members stayed at another hotel, so he's already separated himself.'
Melas also defends the credibility of her source despite repeated claims by the management that One Direction is not disbanding, because while 'Harry's rep is saying it's not true, (but) my source is very close to Harry.'
In April, there were similar claims of Styles eaving the group to pursue a solo record but the rep says, '(t)he boys are all working on the new 1D album together and sometimes sessions are recorded separately.'
Meanwhile, Styles admits to E! Online that like most songwriters, he draws inspiration from his personal life when writing songs for the band.
'You're always going to write and draw inspiration from things that you're feeling, things that you've felt,' says Harry, adding, 'It's kind of impossible not to unless you're writing a song and there's an exact scenario that you're trying to write a song for.'
