Harry Styles & Taylor Swift Separate Serenade for Cancer Patients [VIDEO]
"Haylor" might be over and done but the former couples' actions certainly say a lot about their similarities. Aside from being renowned singers in the industry, Harry Styles and Taylor Swift have one other thing in common - a big heart.
Harry Styles and Taylor Swift dated for a brief period in 2013. The couple named as "Haylor" caused quite the ruckus amongst their fans namely the "Directioners" and "Swifties." Their split of course caused a much bigger riot with both sides spewing hate against one another.
However, Harry and Taylor remain mum about the split. Despite Taylor's diss aimed at Styles during the MTV Video Music Awards 2013, the former couple managed to stay neutral during a photo op with British singer and songwriter, Ed Sheeran.
While Harry has obviously moved on with Paige Reifler, Swift remains single. Yet, some fans of the "Haylor" duo still pray that the singers get back together. Despite their fans claiming their differences wouldn't make the relationship work, their uncanny similarity when it comes to charity and selfless acts say otherwise.
The 1D singer and country crooner headed out to serenade two cancer stricken patients. Harry took his time off from One Direction's "Where We Are" tour to visit cancer patient, Campbell Hoyt at her home. This visit came after Styles had tweeted about his love and support for Cam on Twitter.
On the other hand, Taylor Swift too took time off to visit a cancer patient at the Boston Children's Hospital. The 24-year old singer serenaded Jordan Lee Nickerson with her hit song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" to which Lee joined in on the chorus. Lee's parents shared a video of the moment on YouTube which may also be viewed below.
With the MTV Video Music Awards set for Aug. 24, 2014, both Harry Styles with One Direction and Taylor Swift are set to be present. Fans of the former "Haylor" couple can only hope things go better during their meet at the awards show this time around.
