Harry Styles of "One Direction" should certainly stick to one direction and that is at singing.

At the recent Teen Choice Awards, Harry Styles caused a twitter meltdown when he decided to do a 3-second twerk. Celebrities and fans took to tweet about the "Twerk-castrophy" that took place.

Lucy Hale and Darren Criss spotted Styles in the crowd and asked him to show the audience a bit of his moves. Styles had a few minutes to get ready and even stretched a bit before he caused a commotion at the Teen Choice Awards by twerking.

Co-One Direction singer Zayn Malik who was seated right behind Styles along with Ed Sheeran who was seated next to Styles bursted out laughing. The two were surely unaware that their friend had it in him to "twerk"---on live television and at an awards show.

The performance of Styles caused the following hashtag to trend: #HarryDroppedThatThunThunThun. A lot of people were amused by Styles doing the twerk. Styles clearly had a laugh about his "twerking" decision and twittered "'Note to self, don't 'twerk'.'

We all forgive you Harry and maybe you can have another go at twerking. One Direction opened the Teen Choice Awards to the delight of their fans.

One Direction took home four awards at the Teen Choice Awards: Choice Summer Tour, Choice Single for their song "Live While We're Young, their song "Little Things" won Choice Love Song and they bagged the Choice Group.

Styles won two solo awards at the show: Best Smile and Top Hottie. Well, it certainly does show why. He has the looks and the messy hair to go with his looks. As of now, the star is known to to be building more muscle and is said to be the heart throb of the boy band, "One Direction."
