Kelly McGillis says having fake boobs feels like living a lie
The “Top Gun” star, Kelly McGillis admitted that like many other stars in Hollywood, she had undergone breast implant in hopes to boost her confidence.
But the actress was quick to point out that she could not live with fake boobs for it made her feel like ‘living a lie’, and therefore had them removed as soon as the realization sunk in.
"I once had a boob job but I took them out because it felt like a frigging lie. People would say, 'You have nice t*ts' and I'd be like, 'F**k, they're not mine,” McGillis told Britain’s The Times Magazine, according to Aceshowbiz.
She also said that aside from breast implants, she also tried Botox. But like the implants, she also regretted the procedure for it has limited her acting jobs.
"I did try Botox but let me tell you, trying to do Shakespeare without being able to move your face is the most frustrating thing in the land,” added The Accused star.
McGillis who also appeared in Witness which earned her a Golden Globe nomination, emphasized that she has grown to love her natural looks, expressing confidence that she would not go without projects in Hollywood.
“What's wrong with me as I am? I'm convinced the industry is going to need 70 year olds who look 70," McGillis retorted.
Like McGillis, other Hollywood celebrities who have admitted supersizing their D-cups include Heide Montag, Lindsay Lohan, Victoria Beckham, Kelly Rowland, Pamela Anderson and Kate Hudson and many more.
Hudson’s fake boob came as a complete shock for her friends and fellow stars. She has long been known to joke around her flat chest and has vowed not to go under the knife. But she decided to undergo breast implant following her split with baseball star, Alex Rodriguez.
