'Hawaii Five-O' season 6 episode 14 spoilers: The team looks back on worst Valentine’s Day experiences on 'Hoa 'inea'
“Hawaii Five-O” is currently on a short break and will be returning just in time for Valentine’s Day. Executive producer Peter Lenkov revealed that they will do an episode following the February theme. However, he teased that everyone’s love life will go through trouble on the special day.
The previous episode, “UmiaKaHanu,” aired on Jan. 22, where the team dealt with a hostage situation.
“As Five-0 investigates a double homicide involving marital infidelity, McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) and the team recount their disastrous Valentine’s Day experiences,” the short summary of Season 6 Episode 14 states.

Hollywood Hills features some photos from the upcoming episode, with Chin (Daniel Dae Kim) showing some skin. Lou (Chi McBride) and Daniel (Scott Caan) were also spotted spending time together. Some of the images featured the characters all prepared for Valentine’s Day. Fans should expect a number of romantic dinners, flowers and other sweet things in the next episode.
According to the official synopsis, the team will still be working on a case despite celebrating Heart’s Day, although the homicide itself will be based on relationship woes. The characters may learn some things they can apply to their own relationships from the investigation.
CarterMatt reveals that viewers will find some romance in the next episode, titled “Hoa ‘inea,” which means “Misery Loves Company.” Judging by the title, there will also be expected twists and relationship hurdles on Valentine’s Day. The episode was written by Matt Wheeler and directed by Peter Weller. Some of the guest stars include Taylor Wily as Kamekona, Lili Simmons as Melissa Armstrong, Dennis Chun as Sgt. Duke Lukela, Julie Benz as Inspector Anny Dunn, Michelle Hurd as Renee Grover, Kamri Lin as Natalie Jacobs, Peter Togawa as Dr. Alex Baal and Sarah Carter as Lynn Downey.
Chef Masaharu Morimoto will also make a guest appearance as himself, so fans should expect some culinary arts from the Food Network star. The famous chef might be cooking a romantic dinner for the couples during the episode.
“Hawaii Five-O” Season 6 Episode 14 will air on Friday, Feb. 12, at 9 PM ET on CBS in the US. The show will return on Feb. 11 on Channel Ten in Australia. More updates and details on the Valentine’s Day episode are expected soon.
