'Hawaii Five-O' season 7 episode 5 spoilers: The team deals with a gun thief; Steve exiting the show

In “Hawaii Five-0” Season 7 Episode 5, titled “Ke Ku ‘Ana,” the team will be dealing with a gun thief who is out to make a statement about gun violence. They will have to act fast before anyone gets hurt. In the meantime, talks are circulating that Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) will be exiting the show soon.

Previously, Steve McGarrett and Alicia (Claire Forlani) were held captive by the chess piece killer, who was subsequently revealed to be Madison Gray. An altercation followed where McGarret ended up getting stabbed by the killer, although the blow was not deadly. The team arrived and found both Steve and Alicia safe, but Madison was able to escape. More about the chess piece killer is expected to surface later in the season.
In Season 7 Episode 5 of “Hawaii Five-0,” a cache of guns will be stolen from a gun range. The team will realize that the culprit plans to make a grand and potentially lethal statement regarding gun violence. Kono (Grace Park) and Adam (Ian Anthony Dale) will finally be reunited after the latter is released from jail.
The episode title, “Ke Ku ‘Ana,” means “The Stand.” The episode will begin with the cache of guns getting stolen and the Five-0 team immediately starting an investigation to find out who was behind the deed. The gun thief will be placing a lot of pressure on the team as he carries out the next stage of his grand plan. The team will have to act fast and stop him from putting the lives of others in danger while issuing his statement about gun violence to the public.
TVGuide also writes that there are rumors that Alex O’Loughlin will be leaving “Hawaii Five-0” sometime in Season 7. After his life-threatening ordeal in Season 6, McGarrett has been contemplating about his career and relationships. There are speculations that Steve will ultimately decide to exit the team. Also, Catherine Rollins (Michelle Borth) will return for the show’s 150th episode. It is still uncertain how her presence will affect McGarrett and the rest of the team.
