The Victoria's Secret angel Miranda Kerr never failed to steal the spotlight. And she did it again at a high fashion event in Sydney.

Kerr was spotted at the grand opening of the new Louis Vuitton Maison in Sydney last Dec. 2. She arrived wearing a 1950s-inspired black and grey dress matched with black peep-toe high heels. Her do was tied back in a ponytail.

Miranda posed on the red carpet and she was joined with LV's Chairman and CEO Yves Carcelle.

Australian fashionistas now have their new high-end fashion mecca with the opening of the13th Louis Vuitton Maison in Sydney. The brand considered Sydney and Australia in a whole as one of their important clientele worldwide.

According to Yves Carcelle, Sydney is Australia's version of Fifth Avenue and attracts a lot of high-end tourists from different parts of the world.

The new store is designed to replicate a luxurious heritage home that is equipped with native Australian animals (crocodiles, kangaroos and koalas) that are made out of Louis Vuitton bags. However, the most unique feature is the VIP room where, in only the second store in the world, clients can customise their own luxury items.

Louis Vuitton's 'Made to Order' service allows women to personalise and custom build handbags while men can do the same for shoes and belts. Milan is the only other store that provides the service.

Spotted in the event is Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett who cut the ribbon for the grand opening of the store.
