While most supermodels spend fortunes to look young and youthful, Heidi Klum just did the opposite. The 40-year-old super model with beautiful figure transformed into a grand old lady for this Halloween.

Klum, who has been famous for her "inspirational" Halloween costumes every year, went on to great lengths to become a grand old nanny with wrinkled skin. You can see her pictures here.

The German beauty hired Oscar-winning make-up team consisting of make-up maestros Bill Corso and Mike Marino for her 14th annual Halloween bash Thursday. The A-lister party took place at Marquee nightclub in New York City.

"Ok guys........I am going into the future," Heidi posted on Twitter giving a sneak peak of herself getting ready in an old avatar Thursday afternoon. The "Project Runway" host shared the lengthy makeover process with her 1.9 million Twitter followers.

"Fun times!" she added sharing a picture of her varicose veins, wrinkly prosthetics and a hunched back which makes her look like a gracious old lady. The supermodel completed the look with white pearls in her neck, a white wig, a knee length skirt with a matching waistcoat and a floral top - all in toned down colours of beige and white.

Heidi's fans have loved her grand old lady look.

"Always great costumes.. I'm always excited to see which costume you will come out with.. And this year it's not the exception ," writes one of Heidi's fan buttonmottos on her Instagram page.

"I love this Heidi!! Very terrifying--getting old. My moto. Just keep moving!!!!!!," writes maddydaniels.

The supermodel mommy starts planning for Halloween months in advance as wants to look her "inspired" best on the festival.

"I start thinking of ideas months before Halloween, and I have an amazing team who makes the impossible possible. I don't really have a system for picking my costume each year; they kind of just come to me. It's definitely not a last-minute decision. It takes months of preparation," Heidi told Parade.com in an earlier interview.

Last Halloween, the America's Got Talent judge dressed as a Cleopatra and looked amazing by donning Rhinestones. The German model transformed into a skinless Hellraiser look in 2011 and back in 2008, Heidi became Hindu goddess Kali with blue makeup.
