Heineken has set their most daring social experiment that will test common the strength of the common individual to survive a scenario where they are literally "dropped." It takes a certain character to do something they may have never done before in their entire lives like being left alone in the middle of Alaska's wilderness. All you have is a tuxedo, a ring and a plane ticket. The problem? The airport is still a hundred miles away.

What is Heineken's 'Dropped' About?

"Dropped" is the result of adventurous episodes that follow Heineken's chosen explorers on their bizarre travel experience. This is a brand new campaign for the giant beer company and serves as their fifth in their installment of the 'Legends' platform. Viewers can get a full grasp of the test through the official Heineken Dropped YouTube channel but will also be introduced in an integrated campaign plan via a variety of other social media platforms.

This kind of travel adventure aims to force the characters to unravel their own limits and even get over their very own fears. They shall encounter various challenges along the way from exploring tough terrains, meeting locals and riding the not so common transportation modes. Every audience will be able to follow how each traveler works their way through their entries on their diaries and other updates.

No scripts. The success of the challenge only depends on the determination of the participant to overcome the challenge.

Discovering The Aim Of The 'Voyage' Ad

Created by Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam, the ad's aim is to encourage all Heineken drinkers out there to become adventure travelers and not end up as simple, plain, old tourists. In fact, the first episode features a guy who wishes to be in a laid back beach style place but instead was dropped in the middle of Alaska. The episode already started airing last June 3.

The rest of the 'Dropped' adventures will start every three weeks.
