scar-winning actress Helen Mirren graces the new cover of UK Women a& Home, where Mirren confessed that she is insecure about "bits of her body" just as the next woman. Mirren appeared in the cover clad in a lacy violet dress.

Mirren's candid interview for the magazine revealed humanizing information about the British actress who was once the face of Dove campaign for beauty where she posed naked for their advetisement. But Mirren said she finds some parts of her body as "horrible."

"Bits of my body are all right, but bits of me are horrible," Mirren told Women & Home .

"To be honest, anything from the waist down I don't really like."

Fans may remember Mirren's 2008 photographs in a two-piece bikini, where many express admiration for Mirren's body despite her age. Mirren shares a "tick for making you look and feel good."

"I don't know why, but I do, by nature, hold my tummy in,"Mirren said.

"Four-inch platforms give you great height and make your legs look unbelievably long."

"I used only to be able to get them in stripper shops, but now you can buy them everywhere -- although, unfortunately, that means everyone else has discovered the trick too."

Mirren next appears in a remake of the '80s classic Arthur, opposite Russell Brand.
