The world knows her as the fashionably quirky and delightfully disturbed partner of the famous director, Tim Burton. Now, Helena Bonham-Carter adds a prestigious namesake to her portfolio, as a recipient of the Commander of the British Empire Medal.

Fans of the worldwide wizardly phenomena may recognize her as the demented witch, Bellatrix Lestrange, who was Lord Voldemort's number one supporter. As for fans of Tim Burton, they'd recognize her as the woman who was always acting alongside the handsome, Johnny Depp in the films "Sweeney Todd", "Corpse Bride" and "Alice in Wonderland".

Helena has debuted in a lot of films, but her best so far of which she had won the BAFTA Award was for her role in "The King's Speech."

Incredibly talented and quite humorous, Helena Bonham Carter's hard work had not gone unnoticed. Who better to notice her proficiency and exquisite acting than the Queen herself? 45-year old British actress was commemorated by the Queen for her work in the film industry.

Helena was honored with the CBE Medal or the Commander of the British Empire Award. Along for the ceremony was her husband, Tim Burton and their adorable children, Nell and Billy Ray.

The event was held at the Buckingham Palace, where Helena had jokingly commented about her 4-year old daughter's behavior during the event. Helena had stepped out of the palace holding a pink phone and when asked by a few interviewers if it ever "gone off" during the ceremony, Helena had answered otherwise.

"No, but the four-year-old did!" shared a laughing Helena to which she added, "I am wondering does it mean I get to command, because at the moment it's my four-year-old daughter who does the commanding in our household. Must inform her of the change in situation."

Getting noticed by the Academy may be one great thing for a few Hollywood celebrities, but getting noticed by the Queen is an even better award altogether.

Helena is set to star in another film, "Great Expectations". She's also set to star in another Tim Burton-directed film with Johnny Depp along, "Dark Shadows."
