Sunday's Night of Champions did not produce a definitive conclusion to the building rivalry between John Cena and Brock Lesnar.

Pundits were already sceptical of Cena's ability to topple much less withstand the Beast Incarnate after the latter demolished him at Summer Slam. He was one the verge of winning a clean one at Night of Champions only for a disruptive Seth Rollins to ruin things for all parties involved. While the leader of Cenation got the win via disqualification, Lesnar gets to keep his world heavyweight championship. With these two fighters sitting with one victory a piece, we can expect them to complete the trilogy and settle once and for all in Hell in a Cell this Oct. 26.

Wrestling world follower David Shoemaker all but confirmed the third match in his Twitter feed:

That was an elaborate means of setting up Brock-Cena in HIAC, right?

With the lack of options right now, the wrestling community is already thinking that this match is now a given. CM Punk still has his legal battles with the outfit. Roman Reigns is sidelined for three months due to an incarcerated hernia while Sting is still six months away going forward to Wrestlemania 31. The hanging conclusion to the Cena-Lesnar match in Night of Champions is the final setup to the story leading up to Hell in a Cell.

The other matches rumoured for the next pay-per-view event are as follows:

Nikki Bella vs. Brie Bella

The Usos vs. Gold and Stardust

Sheamus vs. Bray Wyatt

Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose

Rusev vs. Big Show
