Hero Stray Dogs Save 12Yr Old Argentina Girl From Rape
How often has it been said that dogs are always a man's best friend. In this case, even stray dogs can help save someone from sure danger, as what a 12-year-old Argentina girl later discovered for herself when she got saved from a potential rapist.
The unidentified pre-teener, according to Argentinean news reports, was walking to visit her aunt in the Roberto Romero neighborhood of Buenos Aires when the attack happened on June 23. She was reportedly approached and dragged by an older man, with her mouth covered, to an isolated area.
The girl resisted her attacker, screaming her might for help, but since it was an isolated area, no human being was able to hear her, except a pack of homeless stray street dogs who were just nearby, presumably idling their time since it was just way past half nine in the morning.
Now the dogs don't know the girl, and neither the girl knows them. But the unbelievable happened.
Hearing the girl's screams for help, the dogs raced across the street, charging with all their might towards the man, and started attacking him. As they pounced on the aggressor, biting him, the girl then managed to escape the man's hands, running towards a nearby home to seek shelter.
The house owners immediately called the police as well as the girl's family.
As word of the attempted rape spread out, some of the neighbors went out to locate the attacker. He was never found.
Even the hero stray dogs could no longer be found. Witnesses said they are uncertain what has happened to them after the attempted rape.
