According to an etiquette expert, the singer was able to keep her pregnancy under the radar because of some tricks and heavy concealment.

It surprised the whole world when singer Beyonce appeared on for a photo session for last week's MTV VMA's with a baby bump, and now everyone wants to find out how the R&B actress kept her pregnancy a secret. According to an expert, the "Love on Top" singer was able to pull it off by adjusting her fashion sense into a way that will keep the public's eye away from her tummy.

The director of etiquette school The Beauty Tutor, Sarah Donges, says Beyonce wore a lot of loose tops and jewelry to keep the focus on other parts of her body. The skin tight dresses were gone and

"She has worn loose tops, and drawn attention to other areas of her body. There's a saying, 'If you've got it, flaunt it', and she has done that by showing off her legs, so we don't look at her tummy, or had a lot of detail on her dresses so we focus on that rather than shape and size. She also wears big jewellery, so that becomes more of a focal point," says Donges in a report by News.com.au.

Donges also mentioned how the singer wisely wore a stage dress with flaps on at the center to conceal her baby bump when she performed at the Roseland just center last month. Since Beyonce has complete creative control of her production team, the singer was able to adjust the lightings so her baby bump will remain at the dark.

Splash News editor, Darren Banks, suggest that the couple's combined wealth made it easy for them to keep the pregnancy a secret for so long.

"When you have the sort of money they have, you can take private jets, have a multiple convoy of cars and stay in some of the world's top hotels with lots of exits, making it very difficult to be followed and photographed. Beyonce doesn't need to go out shopping and she tends to stay away from the usual celeb hang-outs. So it made it easier for her to keep it a secret," says Banks in the same News.com.au report..
