'High School Musical' Star Ashley Tisdale Marries Musician Christopher French
I do, said the 'High School Musical' star on Monday. She got married to the musician, Christopher French, in the evening in a quiet and secret function at Santa Barbara. But she put up the news on her Instagram account the following day, according to Daily Mail.
"Best day of my life!" the 29-year-old blonde actress wrote on her page. "Introducing Mr and Mrs French Sept 8, 2014." Mrs French looked like a radiantly typical fairytale bride, with a "long, white gown, capped sleeves and a cinched waist," a white lace Monique Lhuillier creation. Crowned with flowers over her blonde hair hanging down her neck, a bit curly at the ends, Ashley carried a pink and white rose bouquet. Christopher, the main singer of Annie Automatic, in his dashing black John Varvatos tux, looked like the perfect foil.
Her co-star, Vanessa Hudgens, followed her. Other bridesmaids from the train of six included her sister Jennifer and friends Kim Hidalgo and Shelley Buckner. The bridesmaids were dressed tastefully in long, beautiful pink, grey and taupe gowns. Jennifer, the maid of honour, was dressed in dark clothes. Their hair was in braids, with curls hanging down their faces. In the Instagram, Ashley puts up the message: "Thanks to @nikkilee901 @msmorganashley @tauni901 @karanmitchellmua @dickycollins for making us all look beautiful."
The guests were ushered into a secret spot, and then to the estate. Security was strict, with guards confiscating cell phones and electronics. In their elegant wedding reception, she had used "wooden farm tables covered with lace table runners to displaying soft garden roses at her reception," said wedding planner, Lisa Vorce, to PEOPLE. The wedding was "inspired by all things rustic and romantic," Vorce adds.
The couple had gotten engaged last year in August, at New York. They had met each other in 2012 through mutual friends. Everyone knew that he had been planning it for some time. They knew it was coming, and she is reportedly so happy!
In 2013, she had said that from the moment she met him, she just knew that she had to get engaged to him. "I was like, "Ok this is the guy," and he knew the same thing. It doesn't get any better. I just can't explain it." They were ecstatic, "on top of the world." She had flaunted her ring at the InStyle Summer Soiree in West Hollywood.
She had organized a "bachelorette party" at Miami in May. Vanessa had said of the couple, that they inspire each other, and that she loved him for Ashley's sake.
Ashley features in the TV show Buzzy's, which will be telecast over TBS next year.
