The teen queen Hilary Duff of "Lizzie Maguire" fame has grown up, married and had a baby. Now, she is making a comeback to television with the TV Land comedy series "Younger."

Duff is now 26 years old and quite a far cry from the pre-teen Lizzie. In "Younger," she plays 20-year-old Kelsey, a friend of the main character Liza, who is played by Broadway actress Sutton Foster. Liza is a 40-something recently single mom who reinvents herself as a 26-year old and lands a job at a publishing company where she meets Duff's character.

Liza makes the move to jumpstart her career in an environment which favours younger workers. All this rooted from a moment where she was hit on by a 20-something guy which inspired her to go through a makeover.

Kelsey is unaware of the real age difference between her and her friend which would probably freak her out if she had known.

Miriam Shor and Entourage alum Debi Mazar will also be in the show. Debi stars as Liza's friend who supports her in the plot to play a much younger woman.

Liza gets to relive her 20's all over again in a similar vein to Drew Barrymore's "Never Been Kissed" where she went back undercover as a high school student only to find herself falling in love with her professor.

The series is written, produced and directed by Darren Starr of "Sex and The City" fame and is based on a novel of the same title written by Pamela Redmond Satran who has also authored several baby name books.

Duff is separated from husband Mike Comrie and they have a two-year-old son called Luca. The pair have recently been seen around LA together in little outings with the toddler in an aim to maintain a solid family environment. With everything in her personal life going as well as they are, the new series is sure to give Duff a great chance to jump back into the spotlight after her short hiatus to concentrate on her family. The series is expected to start airing in January 2015.
