A 22-year-old student has allegedly filmed at least 30 people while having sex with them. The secret filming took place while those people were apparently being contracted HIV from the student who knew that he was HIV-positive.

Michael Johnson, also known as Tiger Mandingo on various social media like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, was charged for exposing his partners to HIV in October. The Missouri man was exposed when one of his male partners reported to police that he had been diagnosed with gonorrhoea as well as HIV only a month after he had intercourse with Mr Johnson. He apparently had sex with the former student of the Lindenwood University in the dorm room.

However, it was only in January that police have managed to discover that the man was also responsible for setting up secret cameras so that he could film while infecting people through sex. Police were able to recover the videos in his laptop. News.com.au reports that there were 32 videos which featured various partners of Mr Johnson.

Social media posts by Mr Johnson suggest that he has homosexual orientation. Court records revealed that Mr Johnson did lie to some of the partners who enquired whether he had any sexually transmittable diseases. He did not use any condom either. The Lindenwood wrestler, a former state champion while he was in his high school, was investigated for five months before getting arrested.

Mr Johnson uses Tiger Mandingo on social media and is believed to have encountered potential partners there. Prosecutors, on the other hand, are in the process of identifying every people who are featured in the videos. It is urged that the people in the video come forward as the case throws light on not only justice but also on health matters.

If Mr Johnson is convicted of the crime of transmitting HIV knowingly, there are possibilities that he may end up spending the rest of his life in prison.
