Hoax Alert: Mayweather OK For Dionesia Pacquiao To Sing American Anthem, But Afraid Of Pacquiao Mum’s ‘Hex’
Since Floyd Mayweather is notorious for imposing impossible conditions for the dream match with Manny Pacquiao to happen, a new satire site exploited that character trait of the unbeaten American boxer by bringing into the picture Dionesia Pacquiao, the mother of Manny.
Because of her being the Pacmum, the 65-year-old mother of Pacquiao has become a star on her own right as she dares sing Miley Cyrus's Wrecking Ball on national television, act in movies, have her own commercials, be a cougar with her 40-year-old boyfriend, but most of all pray fervently that Manny's ring foes lost.
With that scenario in mind, ManilaLiveWire, a satire news site, said Dionesia is part of two conditions that Mayweather has set for him to battle with her son on the ring.
First is that she should sing the Star-Spangled Banner.
Second condition is that after she has sang the American national anthem, Dionesia should not be allowed to watch their bout and be required to leave the fight venue.
ManilaLiveWire quotes Mayweather as saying, "I don't want her to be on the side of the ring. I saw what happened to Timothy Bradley and Chris Algieri during their fight with Pacquiao. The two are great and strong fighter and they both lost to Pacquiao. They were possibly cursed and perhaps under a magic spell. My point is so simple. I just want only to be safe with my fight with Pacquiao."
Although the article is a satire, Mayweather's fear has basis, as the following video shows.

Money May allegedly added, "I know you also saw what she did to the two during that fight and for me I just don't want also to be part of that voodoo ritual."
The About Us section of the Web site carried this information about ManilaLiveWire: "This website is only for entertainment purposes. Some of our articles posted in are true issues relevant to our daily life and some are helpful tips. Likewise some other articles are not true featuring satirical articles, reporting and containing spoofs local and international issues, parodies news, contemporary issues, present stories, which are sometimes out of this world. It is for you to decide if it's true or not."
Satire or not, many boxing fans would surely be interested to know what would Mayweather do if the bout finally happens and Dionesia shows up in Las Vegas complete with her prayer book and rosary, the Pacmum - together with her son's powerful punches - may just do a repeat of what she did with Algieri and give Money May his first loss just as he is about to retire with a perfect record.
Top Rank Promotions boss Bob Arum may be wrong after all. It isn't Pacquiao's left hook that Mayweather is afraid, but Dionesia's right "hexing" finger!
