The producers of "Hobbit 2" will soon release a Blu-ray version of the movie. It will contain 25 minutes of unseen footage of the movie and 9 hours of special features that will take the viewers behind the scenes and show how some of the exciting scenes were filmed.

The new trailer of "Hobbit 2" extended version starts with the all-too-familiar Bilbo Baggins and the dragon Smaug at the Lonely Mountain. Movie buffs will recognise some of the scenes in the trailer from the movie.

The trailer shows Gandalf being warned about Thorin reaching the Lonely Mountain. Bard the Bowman is also seen advising Gandalf against entering the mountain, in fear of waking up the dragon. The dragon Smaug is seen proclaiming to be the new king. Gandalf is also seen using the revelation spell in the trailer.

The "Hobbit 2" extended version will take the viewers behind the scenes and show the massive production sets used for the film. A model showing the inside view of the Lonely mountain and its vast treasure is reviewed by the director in the trailer.

Large green backgrounds can also be seen in the trailer. The green backgrounds are used to add special effects to the scene after filming. Martin Freeman, playing Bilbo Baggins, is jumping from a flight of stairs as he gets attacked by the dragon Smaug's fire.

The cast of "Hobbit 2" includes Ian Mckellen as Gandalf, Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins, Richard Armitage as Thorin, Benedict Cumberbatch as the voice of Smaug and the Necromancer, Orlando Bloom as Legolas, Evangeline Lilly as Tauriel, Lee Pace as Thranduil, Cate Blanchett as Galadriel and Stephen Fry as Master of Laketown.

The "Hobbit 2" extended version will be released on Bly-ray on Nov 4, 2014. The 3D version will be priced at $49.19 and the regular Blu-ray version will be priced at $33.19, according to WBShop.com. Some of the fans who have bought the DVD version were seen complaining on Facebook about the producers not making the additional content available on DVD and forcing fans to now own two copies of the same movie.
