‘Hobbit 3’: Bilbo Picks Up The Sword, Also Vote For Tauriel or Galadriel For Next Poster

Will Bilbo Baggins play a more active role in the battles of "Hobbit 3"? The new poster of the movie suggests more action can be expected from the character. The producers also released a poster of a weary Gandalf.

The final battle in "Hobbit 3" will bring an end to the trilogy and decide the fate of Middle-earth. The armies of men, orcs, dwarves, elves and eagles will clash in the epic conclusion. Gandalf is one of the few who knows about the impending battle, but is far away to warn or guide the dwarves.

The dwarves, led by Thorin, have Bilbo Baggins for company. Bilbo has proved to be a valuable asset for the team at critical junctures in the past. When it comes to war, he may have little choice but pick up the sword. Click here to see the character wield his sword.

The producers had given the choice for the next poster to the fans. The choice was between Gandalf and Thorin. In the close contest it was the old wizard who emerged victorious and the producers released his poster. Click here to see the poster. Some of the fans of the franchise wanted to see the full length trailer and the poster of Sauron. Fans have been asked to choose between Tauriel and Galadriel for the next poster.

The producers have already released the teaser trailer of the movie. The trailer of "Hobbit 3" featured Bilbo Baggins prominently and showed a wounded Gandalf being kissed by Galadriel. Gandalf was last seen fighting the Necromancer in his lair.

The trailer also showed the dragon Smaug breathing fire on Lake-town and the pale orc Azog leading his army. A glimpse of Throin's greed for the gold is also shown with the character choosing to go to war.
