The producers of "Hobbit" 3 has posted a picture of the Pale Orc, Azog the Defiler on the official Facebook page of the movie. The image shows the Orc leading his vast army to the Lonely Mountain for the final battle.

Azog works for a very familiar enemy using the name Necromancer. The final battle will bring the journey of the dwarves to an end. The five armies in the fray include the Dwarves, Elves, Goblins, Eagles and Humans. Check this out to see the Azog and his army.

The recently released trailer of "Hobbit" 3 shows Thorin with his fellow dwarves in armour as they go to war. A company of battle-ready Elves are also present. The final battle will determine who will control the Lonely Mountain and its vast treasures.

The company of dwarves had reached their mountain homeland in the previous movie. Although they were unable to kill the dragon Smaug who was guarding the treasure, they managed to drive it out. The dragon was seen unleashing his wrath on the townsfolk in Lake-town in the trailer of "Hobbit" 3.

The "Hobbit" trilogy is set 60 years before the events of "The Lord of the Rings" movies. The final installment may explain how the greatest enemy of Middle-earth, Sauron, gained the power to return.

Fans of the franchise are eagerly waiting for the epic conclusion of the trilogy. Some of the fans are concerned about the movie being too different from the books they are based on. The franchise, however, has enjoyed immense popularity. The producers thanked the six million fans on the official Facebook page of the movie.

"Hobbit" 3 is due to be released on Dec 26, 2014 in Australia, Dec 11 in New Zealand, Dec 12 in the UK and Dec 17 in the U.S and Canada. The cast of the movie includes Richard Armitage, Lee Pace, Benedict Cumberbatch, Evangeline Lilly, Luke Evans, Orlando Bloom, Martin Freeman and Ian McKellen.
