‘Hobbit 3’ ‘I Am Fire. I Am Death’ Poster of Smaug Released
A new poster of the dragon Smaug has been released by the producers of "Hobbit 3." The dragon is seen setting Lake town on fire in the poster. Fans of the franchise wonder who will win in a fight between Smaug and Godzilla.
The dragon Smaug is seen flying over Lake town with many of the houses set on fire. The poster has been titled "I am fire. I am Death." Readers who have seen the previous movie will recall the dragon saying that it is made of fire. Click here to see the poster.
Fans of the movie franchise are eager to watch the movie when it gets released on Dec 17, 2014 in the U.S. Commenting on the poster, some of the fans wondered who would win if Smaug and Godzilla were to fight.
When Thorin and the dwarves reached Lake town, the people were concerned that Thorin's actions could wake the sleeping dragon and Smaug could unleash his wrath on the people of the town. They were however hopeful that the dragon could be killed. Thorin and his company were able to drive out Smaug in "Hobbit 2."
The trailer of "Hobbit 3" shows Bilbo Baggins talking about the impending war. Thorin is seen choosing to go to war in the trailer. The character will change in the movie and may have become the victim of the same sickness that his grandfather had suffered.
Thorin will let go of honour and friendship in his search of the jewel known as the Arkenstone. It is up to Bilbo Baggins to try and make Thorin see reason and compromise. Will Thorin lose everything in his quest to become king?
Legions of orcs are secretly travelling to the Lonely Mountain to claim its vast treasures. Only Gandalf knows of this secret army, will he reach the battle at the nick of the time to turn the tide as he has done before? The dragon Smaug is also seen in the video breathing fire.
Will the people of Lake town finally see the end of Smaug in "Hobbit 3"? The final instalment from the movie franchise will see the races of dwarves, men, elves and orcs in an epic battle. One of the survivors of the battle is expected to be Bilbo Baggins, who will live to tell the tale.
