A new trailer of "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" reveals more footage from the upcoming movie. One of the scenes to note in the trailer is of Bard drawing his bow in Lake-town set on fire by the dragon Smaug. [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]

Smaug the dragon was driven away from the Lonely Mountain, but he will take his revenge on the people of Lake-town. One of the warriors in the town expected to fight the dragon fiercely is Bard. Readers who have seen the previous movies will remember that it was one of Bard's ancestors that had pierced the dragon's armour many years ago.

Bilbo Baggins had discovered the dragon's weak spot in the previous movie, when he went looking for the Arkenstone. Will Bard be able to discover and take advantage of the dragon's weakness in time to save his town?

Bilbo Baggins can be seen saying that these are "dark days." An army of elves will attack the Lonely Mountain under the leadership of Thranduil while an army of orcs led by Azog has been sent in secret by Sauron. Will the fight be too much for the dwarves to handle in "The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies"?

Gandalf will be rescued by Galadriel and Elrond. The old wizard will find that Thorin is not the same after becoming king under the mountain. Thorin will be plagued by the same dragon sickness that corrupted his grandfather.

He may get to redeem himself as he leads his fellow dwarves one last time into battle. The new trailer also shows Tauriel reaching Lake-town. Legolas can also be seen in action fighting an orc. A brief scene shows Azog battling someone that appears to be Thorin. The war bats can also be seen in the video.

"The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies" is slated to be released on Dec. 26, 2014 in Australia. The movie will bring to an end the journey of Bilbo Baggins and the company of the dwarves he joined. This is one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year and may also be the last from the franchise.
