The cast members of "the Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" appeared on a video to announce the premiere of the movie. The world premiere of the final movie in the trilogy will be taking place at London in December. [Spoiler Alert]

Ian McKellen, Richard Armitage, Luke Evans, Orlando Bloom and Martin Freeman appear in the video. The actors play the characters Gandalf, Thorin Oakenshield, Bard, Legolas and Bilbo Baggins respectively in the upcoming movie.

Ian McKellen spoke about the upcoming movie being the last of not only the "Hobbit" trilogy but also of the franchise that he has been associated for over 14 years. The actor was also part of "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, which is based on the same fictional world created by J.R.R. Tolkien.

Ian McKallen introduced all the heroes in the upcoming movie. The video also features scenes from the upcoming movie. The scene of Thorin watching over his treasure in the Lonely Mountain can be seen in the video along with dwarves preparing to go to war. Thorin will be plagued by the same dragon-sickness that his grandfather had suffered and will choose to sacrifice honour and friendship, while searching for the legendary Arkenstone in the movie.

The elves will finally be joining the war in "The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies." A scene of Brad inspecting some of the soldiers in the army of elves can be seen in the video. The director of the movie, Peter Jackson revealed some of the battle plans of the final war scene in the movie to E! Weekly. Bard will be leading a contingent of men into battle in the movie.

Legolas is the prince of the Woodland Elves and his father Thranduil has so far been reluctant to join the battles concerning the dwarves. Thorin considers this an act of betrayal and feels that the elves are his enemy. Ian McKallen introduced Martin Freeman last, who had an important announcement to make.

Martin Freeman announced the world premiere of "The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies." The premiere will take place on Dec. 1, 2014 in London's Leicester Square. The venue is known for multiple red carpet events. The whole cast of the upcoming movie along with the cast of "The Lord of the Rings" will be present at the premiere, according to Orlando Bloom.
