The official trailer of "Hobbit" 3 has been released by Warner Bros. Pictures. The movie will bring to an end the journey of Thorin, his fellow dwarves, Gandalf and Bilbo Baggins. The release date of the movie is slated to be 26 Dec, 2014.
The trailer of "Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" shows all the races preparing for war and a few glimpses of the fighting. Smaug the dragon is also seen unleashing his anger on the townsfolk in Lake-town.
The song "Edge of the Night" is heard playing in the background. Readers who have seen the "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" movie will remember Pippin singing this song for Denethor, while his son Faramir tries to take back Osgiliath from the Orcs.
The trailer also shows the vast treasures of the Lonely Mountain and Thorin wearing the crown. Thorin's anger has not subsided from the previous movie and is seen choosing to go to war. The Pale Orc and his horde are seen on the march.
The Elves seem to have finally joined the battle. Viewers can see them in their armour and wielding their bows as they prepare to fight. After the battle is done it will be Bilbo Baggins who will live to remember the fallen and tell their tale.
In "Hobbit" 2 Bilbo Baggins was seen trying to steal the Arkenstone. The jewel is regarded as a symbol of power and the right to rule Erebor. Thorin desperately needed the jewel and was seen to be eager to reclaim his ancestral homeland.
Viewers also got a glimpse of Sauron as the real face behind the Necromancer in the previous movie. The trailer of "Hobbit" 3 shows the viewers the burning eye that never sleeps. This is the form of Sauron that fans of the franchise are familiar with in the "Lord of the Rings" movies.
"Hobbit" 3 will be released on Dec 26, 2014 in Australia, Dec 11 in New Zealand, Dec 12 in the UK and on Dec 17 in the U.S. The movie is one of the most highly anticipated for this year. Fans of the franchise are excited to see the trailer.
